In case you thought that doing (and winning) the 3-Day Novel Contest is the craziest thing Brendan McLeod has done, check out this video of Tackle Me For A Dollar. Brendan stood in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery inviting strangers to have a run at him to change people’s thinking about panhandlers. The whole thing was part of a performance art project by the Never Be Lonely artists collective. Brendan appears to be walking around today, so no writers were (seriously) hurt during the filming of this event. Find out more about the tacklings and the public’s reaction at Brendan’s website.
