Vancouver Registration Drop-off
Saturday, August 21st, 2010Vancouverites: Looking to enter last-minute? Want to meet and greet some fellow entrants, or find out more about the contest? Or do you just want to save a stamp? We’ll be holding our annual registration drop-off on the eve of the contest at Kafka’s Coffee on Main Street. Come on by with your registrations and questions (or, if you’ve already registered, come on by anyway to say hi).

3DN Launch and Party in Toronto
Saturday, July 10th, 2010Hey Torontonians! Join us at the Victory Cafe in Toronto as we launch the latest release from 3-Day Books and cheer on all the local entrants to the upcoming 33rd Annual International 3-Day Novel Contest.

Mark Sedore will offer tips for surviving and excelling at the world’s most notorious literary marathon and read from his contest-winning tale of brotherly betrayal and arctic survival. 3DN personnel will also be on hand to answer questions, take registrations, comfort the nervous and hand out some fun prizes.

3DN reading in Vermont
Friday, January 29th, 2010Hey Vermont 3-Dayers! Here’s another opportunity to meet and greet a fellow 3-Day survivor. Jason Rapczynski, the winner of the 2008 3-Day Novel Contest, will read from The Videographer at his alma mater, Saint Michael’s College in Colchester (near Burlington) on February 4. Drop by if you’re in the area, and pick up a signed copy for yourself!

Last minute drop-off for Vancouverites
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009We’ll be doing our usual last minute meet-up and registration drop-off this Friday night a Lugz coffee shop in Vancouver. That gives Vancouverites a couple of extra hours to get their registrations to us…everyone else in the world needs to get it to their local post office by closing time.
We’ll be at Lugz from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Friday, so come by to drop off your registration or just to say hi and meet with fellow entrants!

New Haven reading and post-contest meetup

Reading at the Yale Bookstore
The Yale Bookstore is hosting a reading by 2008 winner Jason Rapczynski on Sept. 9. It’s a great opportunity to meet up with fellow entrants from the New Haven area after the contest. You can debrief with Jason and other survivors and share your experiences - and also hear a little bit of The Videographer, a great 3-Day novel!
